2.5 cm high precision RTK+ signal network

The RTK plus service is developed at the European level in partnership with the CNH group, providing throughout the European territory, the most precise guidance system that ensures, through precision and accuracy, the increase of farmers' efficiency, the reduction of fatigue and the expansion of work possibilities regardless of the weather or time of day

The national coverage of the RTK plus precision signal was developed by Titan Machinery Romania starting in 2016 and quickly spread among domestic farmers, who understood that this service is fundamental for sustainable agriculture.

The benefits of RTK plus (Real Time Kinematic) represent the high-precision technology that ensures an accuracy in the field of 2.5 cm, with repeatability from year to year. RTK plus contributes to the improvement of the precision of seed bed processing, sowing, irrigation and harvesting, as well as system monitoring.

Also, as a result of the repeatability over time, soil compaction is greatly reduced, the quality and productivity of the agricultural land being improved.

RTK+ for all makes and models of machinery

All tractors, from Farmall to Quadtrac, from Case IH machines to other brand machines, from excavators to graders, are successfully used with maximum precision, thus leaving no two different tracks on successive passes. The development of the first RTK+ network in Romania meant sustained efforts but also a satisfaction to measure, especially when we talk about the peace of mind of farmers when they perform really precise works: sowing of weedy or grassy plants, harvesting, preparation or weeding. Although the RTK+ precision signal was originally designed for navigation systems, given the very good accuracy of this technology, it is now also being developed and used in autodrive/autopilot systems, precision agriculture and industrial machinery control systems.

Titan Machinery RTK+ network

The Titan Machinery RTK+ network leverages CNH's IT infrastructure, with a single, separate production server dedicated in the CNH Europe and US server machine nursery. Our network has a dynamic differential GPS signal, processed by complex methods, which ensures repeatability from year to year. Thanks to the large number of fixed stations, the network presents an optimal signal throughout the country, active 24 hours a day. Also, by simultaneously using the GPS, GLONASS, BEIDOU and GALILEO satellite network, Titan Machinery RTK + offers impeccable coverage with continuous signal at any time of the day or night. The data processing method involves multiple triangulations between permanent stations, the transfer of raw data via the Internet to the work servers, their processing and retransmission to the receiver on the machine.

High precision signal

Due to the integration and interconnection in the network, each station progressively participates in the operation of the network. And the reverse procedure is valid, the absence of a station (or its shutdown) is replaced by the effort of nearby stations in the network. Thus, through this process, the signal performance remains unaffected. For data transmission, each station and receiver participating in the network uses mobile data subscriptions through national telephone operators. The transfer is done through dedicated modems for M2M protocols.
